Praia da Solaria beach
Its main attraction is the Forte da Ponta da Bandeira, also known as Forte do Pau da Bandeira or Fort of Nossa Senhora da Penha de França or Fort of Registration. It is an old military structure in the city of Lagos.
It was built in the 17th century, as one of the main components of a system of maritime fortifications to defend the city, then seat of the military government of the Algarve.
Praia do Pinhão beach
One of the best known and most famous beaches due to the splendorous house that stands on the site where in the past there was a military fort known as “Bateria do Pinhão”.
Currently, nothing remains of this fortification, but it is still possible to see its foundations in the rocks, now isolated due to the 1755 earthquake that destroyed a large part of the city and its buildings.
Praia da D. Ana beach
Praia da D. Ana is a geographic accident near the city of Lagos.
It is one of the main tourist areas in Lagos due to its great beauty, being considered an ex-libris of the county. In 2013 it was considered the best beach in the world.
Praia do Camilo beach
Small beach, it is between cliffs, with particular rock formations. Access to the beach is via a long staircase. And at the top the Restaurant "O Camilo", one of the best in Lagos.
Black Rock
Rock formation of volcanic origin that was active about 70 million years ago, today a unique formation both on the surface and in the depths serving as a refuge for dozens of marine species.
Praia da Luz beach
Praia da Luz is a beach located 7 km from Lagos (Algarve, Portugal) in the village of Luz. Once a fishing village, it now has several holiday resorts. It is a holiday area that receives tourists of different nationalities every year (mainly Portuguese, Spanish, English, French and German). Despite the concrete belt that continues to develop around it, the town retains part of its charm, especially on summer days, when the beach is one of the busiest.
Return to the Port of Lagos
The return trip allows you to relax and enjoy the best landscape in the Algarve.
